We are proud to be a “Healthy School” and encourage the children to have a balanced, varied diet. Children may either bring a packed lunch (clearly marked with their name) or take advantage of our hot lunch service.
At the moment, all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school lunch under the Universal Free School Meal programme. However, if you are in receipt of certain benefits your child may be entitled to pupil premium funding whereby the school receives extra money in its budget to help fund a range of activities or support.
Our hot school lunches are provided by Alliance in Partnership, who use fresh, local and sustainable ingredients in their meals. The lunches include a daily choice of a main meal or vegetarian option, as well as two seasonal vegetables, or a range of salad, fresh bread and a choice of pudding. Filled jacket potatoes or freshly made sandwiches are also available.
Once a child joins Feckenham CE Primary School, menu options are chosen by parents using their parentpay account. Menus are changed termly and sample menus can be found on the following website:
